Re: Wow
Extreme Auto Paint Detail
Quote:
Want to really make that car or truck shine and last a long time? Tired of looking at scratches and tar marks? Tired of washing your vehicle to see little difference? What your vehicle really needs is a good buff-job.
I do not just wash a vehicle and call that a detail. I use a high-speed buffer with many different pads and compounds. I actually can remove or improve all damage your paint has suffered. Light scratches, oxidation, and road tar can all disappear. As a bonus, I wax the entire paint surface.
Price starts at $60 for complete surface (All depends on vehicle size and damage) Spot-jobs for low as $20

I also can do some mechanics, (ex.fluid change, brakes, rotors, etc) as long as there are no specific tools required. However I am NOT liable.
Somebody needs to teach him a thing or two about liability

"I also do some paint restoration as long as it's not eating away the clear coat. That takes more time and more equipment than what I have here.
If you are interested in any of these, or if you have some questions about having something done to your car that I have not listed.
Feel free to give me a call.

Re: Wow
I cringe at the sight of these..
My favorite yet "As a bonus I wax the entire paint surface"
Well buddy? You think I just want you to wax my driver side quarter panel?
I bought the whole car, to put wax on the whole car.
Someone needs some serious lessons in REAL detailing, Business Management, Marketing, And take the stupid pills out of their lunchbox.

Re: Wow
I'd be willing to bet its about a 50/50 mix of things going on here... you have one half genuine hack jobs who really only charge $50 and you get a horrible job... then the other half I think is guys who list a low price and then when you call they start to ramp the price up to a reasonable level, I don't think thats anymore acceptable, but thats what I seem to find in my area.

Re: Wow
Most of these ads are bait and switch. Bait you with the price and then stick it to you once they get your car. Kinda like when I had my carpet cleaning business. People would advertise $7.95 a room or $99 whole house special. "$7.95 includes rinsing your carpet with water, if you would like an emulsifier to break down the dirt, that will be $19.95 per room." " Oh and if you want a deoderizor that will be $27.99 per room." You get the idea. You start with a $75 dollar detail and the bill ends up $225 and you say, "gee what happened?"
