Re: New website just went live!

looks good. Nice and clean. Good color scheme too.

I would say its a bit small though. The font is a bit small, but overall I think the window could be expanded to maybe 50% wider (25% on each side).

I also noticed that when you click on a link and begin to load the new page there is a strange line that scrolls the screen as it loads. Kind of hard to explain. Might be a strange error in the coding or maybe its just my comp...

Overall though, it looks good. Did you code it yourself?

Re: New website just went live!

I didn't notice any line upon page loads as the above poster experienced, though I do know of problems like that, it could be browser, monitor, or an incorrect setting. I didn't see it on mine so I wouldn't worry about it, it's not a site problem. I do agree that the font could be a point larger and the center window could be a little wider. I love the teal/turquoise colors, it's very easy on the eyes, no clutter, very attractive. From experience in customer service I would suggest adding on your contact page that e-mails and phone messages will be returned within 3 business days. Most customers are sensible, but some go into a panic if they don't hear back the same day. It would just cover your butt. I also noticed on your exterior section that you name the polisher manufacturers, many customers wouldn't understand the rotary/orbital or brand difference. By naming your tools, you might be asking for a headache if someone wanted you to explain why you use different tools. I would replace your Paragon detail service with a sentence or two, that you can do show car prep upon request and at additional costs. I think the majority of people will immediately figure the cost of 50 hours at $50 an hour and turn away from a $2500 service. Those are just my opinions, by all means, do what your happy with. Other than that, its a very attractive and professional looking site.

Re: New website just went live!

....I like the layout but my first thought was the same as Heath's. ....lettering, etc. is too small.

Re: New website just went live!

I don't know who Heath is?

But with Billions of websites, there will always be some sort of similarity

Small typo on Services page. The Porter Cable 7424 is a DA not a rotary, right?

^^^^ In this remark I was agreeing with his point regarding the scale of your page (not "similarities" to some other site). Overall, it's too small (the lettering, etc.).

Re: New website just went live!

i think the site looks rather well . . . . . it's simple and to the point. Not to much extra to add confusion going on like some other sites.

Who made it . . . . you? What did you use if you don't mind me asking.

Re: New website just went live!

I had a good friend of mine make it for me. He used to do it professionally, now does it as a hobby.

I made the layout myself in photoshop, and then he coded it all.
