just wondering, what is the life of these pads on average use? (average use as in detailing once a month with routine maintenence and wash.

obviously im guessing you cant use a pas anymore once it starts to break apart and shred

Re: christmas has arrived!

i have pads that last over a year but i also use them ALOT. I was just saying you will need more to do the car even if its once a month. Buy the 3 pack of 5.5 CCS pads for like $16.99 and your set. Get the 3 pack orange, 3 pack white, 3 pack blue/red/black.

i have the flex 3401, i thought it could only support 6.5" pads?

...i just measured and the backing plate is actually exactly 5.5", so is that what most people do? get 5.5 instead of 6.5?
