Exclamation Any suggestions for buffing out a FedEx Truck?

Hello All!! This is my first post, so let me start out by saying how much I enjoy the forum. I was asked by a FedEx driver/owner to detail his truck and get the scratches out of the side of it. Do you have any suggestions on products and what I would have to do in order to restore the paint? I was planning on using Meguiar's Heavy Cut Cleaner on it along with a Meguiar's foam cutting pad on my rotary buffer. Then if needed I will hit it with a foam finishing pad. Am I on the right track? Or does anyone have experience and can help me out? Thanks for your time!

I don't know but I believe the graphics are vinyl not paint so I wouldn't use anything strong or it can get damaged. I'd probably only use a cleaner wax on the graphics.

Do you have experience with a rotary? Heavy paint corrections?

Let us know a little bit more about YOU, so we can give advice that will be within your reach.

Re: Any suggestions for buffing out a FedEx Truck?

Thanks for all your suggestions so far. As for my experience with a rotary buffer I do not have too much. I have used an orbital more than I have used a rotary. I did one truck allready using an orbital buffer with a foam pad and medium cut wax. It helped a little bit but the scratches were still there. It did not show any indications of harming the viynl with that combo. Thank you in advance for you help!
