Brochure Design Ideas?

Has anyone designed their own brochure for their detailing business? If so, would you be willing to post some pics?

Also, what computer program did you use to design your brochure?

I have Corel WordPerfect 8 and it does not have a brochure template -- you can do a 3 column layout and manually do this, but I'd much rather have a template to save a little time and brain power.

Would love suggestion on brochure design, layout, etc!! Thanks a bunch!!

I've been working on a flyer for mine. Next thing is a brochure but haven't even had time to finish up the flyer. Looking forward to having some time this wednesday to finish it up.

I'm using photoshop to do it.

Well, I havnt done a brochure because I dont have a detailing business but I have used Corel Draw 8 to make a program for a golf outing.

I thing corel draw could do the same thing for the program I dont know it too well so I would have to see.

Others can chime in.

brochure design

i've done pretty much all my brochures, flyers, and business cards in one or two programs. most have been done in PrintShop 11 others in PictureIt! Publishing. PrintShop is very easy to work with and the program runs around $40 i think - btw, they're on version 13 or more by now.

sonnydaze1 -- I didn't think about PrintShop - I don't have a copy of the program right now, but that would be one worth getting!

NYD - Looking forward to seeing your designs ~ it helps me to look at other people's work and see what all they are putting in theirs. I'm also working on a flyer to post around town.

Hate it about the virus -- we wiped out a whole hard drive a few years ago - I've finally learned to back up regularly to a CD-ROM!!

Hmmmm - maybe I should do that tonight!

Thanks for the help, y'all!!

I as well would like to see some flyer/brochure designs.. Although I am not opening a full-time detailing business, i will however pass out some flyers in my neighborhood, and at an exotic-car mechanic shop whom i know the owner pretty well. I just wanna make a little cash before i go off to college. Nothing really serious, just something to pass the long 3 months of summer vacation.

PathfinderGuy,

That's basically what I'm doing, too -- I'm a stay-at-home mom, and want to do this as a part-time business which maybe will one day grow into a full-time business for my husband and me.

Good luck with yours!!
