Adding a second coat of Z5 and a final coat of Z2 would be lucky to add 5% extra gloss to the paint.
That time would be better spent on other area's in my opinion. You could easily gain that 5% in other areas that are quicker and cheaper. Moving the paint correction up a few notches or using a beauty wax would make a bigger difference.
For the cheaper silver details i'd look at
Meguiars #66 quick detailer with a spray wax such as duragloss aquawax. As this may even save a bit of time and money in products, you may be able to go over the bonnet and quarter panels with SIP quickly.
Im such a big fan of
Meguiars #66 that i often use it on my high end packages also. #66 will pretty much eliminate the ZPC stage as it has light cutting power and has the gloss and depth of Z5. On cars that dont require much paint correction i'll often use poliseal for its added protection as i'll usually have a bit of extra time/money on the good cars.
On bad paint jobs i've gone straight from
Menzerna powergloss on a wool pad on the rotary to Meguiars #66 on a random orbital. So full paint correction and protection added in only two steps. I then go over the car with aquawax as a final wipedown and a gloss enhancer. Then when the customers come back for their yearly detail i go over the car with just #66 and it removes any slight swirls from the last 12 months.
But definitely get some Meguiars #66 you wont be dissapointed if you do lots of bulk work. Having tried XMT360, it seems the same as Meguiars #66, except it costs 10 times as much as it only comes in smaller bottles.
Is there any reason you want such long protection? Dont the customers return again?
