Re: road coach detail quote

77 foot? Unpossible. Probably more like a 45 foot.

Inside and out, or just outside? $20 a foot for just outside to wash, polish and seal.

Re: road coach detail quote

Re: road coach detail quote

I quote them at $15 a linear foot for basic outside wash, AIO and seal.

Re: road coach detail quote

Wow, $20 a foot?? Isn't that a little on the cheap side for a wash, polish and seal? That's at least 3-4 steps. That's going to take about 3 days easy inside and out.

Check with boat detailers and find out what they're charging per foot.

Re: road coach detail quote

Frank (Mirrorfinishman) wrote an article for Professional Carwashing and Detailing magazine on this very subject. I believe he said to divide the length by 2 and multiply that figure by your hourly rate. That was for exterior only though.

$20 per foot price is outside only. Never really done a full interior on one, just polished the brass rails and wiped down the hard surfaces.

Wash, polish and seal on a 44' coach takes me about 15 hours total, about 9 when my older son helped me on the last one. A real time saver is to polish with Poli-Seal and remove with Optimum Car Wax. Holds up pretty well, especially since coaches like that are rarely left outside except when actually being used.

Re: road coach detail quote

I don't know, I've never done a huge vehicle like that, but still seems a bit cheap for a 3 step process on the exterior.

I'd charge more but that's just me.
