So last weekend I had a return client come down 6+ hours from Canada and have me apply Opti-Guard to the rest of this vehicle. Some of you may recall when I detailed this car for him last year. At the time he wasn't really interested in the coating but I decided to coat his bumper cover for him to give him a taste of what this coating can offer. Well after 1 year and the car sitting outside 24/7 it was pretty clear why he called me up.

I must first apologize for the poor quality of the video. This was not planned, my Flip was dead, and the old iPhone was all I had. After washing the car though I simply had to capture what I was seeing on video and share with the rest of the world.

To summarize, the car received a full 2-step polish last June, the entire car was sealed with Blackfire Wet-Diamond, minus the front bumper which received OG. Now I love BFWD, but 1 year, outside 24/7, touch-less washes in the winter....I can't think of any traditional wax/sealant that would hold up well to those conditions.

So after washing the car the below was what I saw during the final rinse! Enjoy!

    Looks awesome Chad!
Especially for a part of the vehicle that takes a lot of abuse.

You should have coated half of the hood.

If that's not solid proof of the true value of OG/OC, I don't know what is.

Always interesting when I revisit a vehicle I have Opti-Coated. The paint still looks terrific and it beads like crazy. The black GTR I did last fall looked freshly coated when I saw it yesterday.

    Great video, btw.
