A bunch of cars, part II

My yearly trip down to Waco. At least it was warm this year. This shot is of when I first got to the location.

1994 Range Rover. Optimum Poli-Seal using an orange Soft Edge one step pad and Opti-Seal.

2006 Mazda Miata, same process as above.

2007 BMW 335i. Just protected this time, 2 coats of Opti-Seal.

2005 Ford F-150. Basically, it is his beater. Paint was actually in decent shape and since I also had to detail the interior to take care of all the stuff the person who detailed at the dealer either didn't do, or messed up (like spraying greasy goo all over the leather and vinyl WITHOUT CLEANING IT FIRST!!!), I just applied a coat of Opti-Seal and then went over it with Optimum Car Wax.

2005 Mercedes ML350. Detailed it in late spring, paint was still decent-that is the nice thing about the CeramiClear paint Mercedes is using. Optimum Poli-Seal using an orange Soft Edge one step pad, Opti-Seal by hand.

=============

2006 Jaguar XK. Second time I have detailed it since he got in early this summer. Woolite/water for leather/vinyl, BioKleen TLC for carpets, dressed with Meguiars Interior QD and Gold Class Leather Conditioner.

Just a light polish and protection for the winter this time. Optimum Poli-Seal using an orange Soft Edge one step pad, Opti=Seal by hand, topped with Pinnacle Paste Glaz.

2005 Volvo XC90. Really beautiful non-metallic blue that, according to the customer, is only used on Volvos every four years. Optimum Polish using a white LC CCS polishing pad, Meguiars NXT v2 by hand. Ultima Tire and Trim on the plastic cladding.

Note the dog hair build up between the seats. The interior was filled with dog hair, took 40 minutes just to vacuum the interior.

Woolite/water for leather/vinyl, BioKleen TLC for carpets, dressed with Optimum Protectant Plus.

Huh? No, I explained about the interior so you would know why I didn't polish the paint and just used OS and OCW to protect the paint.

2006 Lexus IS350. Polished it out in July, still looked pretty good. Just put on a couple coats of Opti-Seal...and this time the sun was out when I finished.

Second that... the red Lexus with the black rims is a great combo. As our teenager would say `That looks sick!`

Re: A bunch of cars, part II

Thanks Scott. Great as usual. Also thanks for the sample shots of NXTv2. By the looks of the pics NXTv2 seems to be a winner in the looks dept.
