A bunch of cars!

Minus whale start getting caught up...still have 3 CDs full of pics I haven't even loaded on my computer yet!

2004 Infiniti G35. I do an exterior detail on this one 2-3 times a year. Paint still looked good, no polishing except the headlights (Poli-Seal) needed so I applied 2 coats of Opti-Seal by hand.

This is their 2006 BMW 330, polished it deeply in early summer, just needed a light polishing with Optimum Poli-Seal and an orange Soft Edge one step pad, sealed with Opti-Seal.

2006 BMW 325. Really good shape, just needed a light clean up. Poli-Seal with a yellow Meguiars polishing pad and Opti-Seal by hand.

Re: A bunch of cars!

2004 Lexus RX330. Lasts polished in April, still looked really good, so two coats of Opti-Seal, and Ultima Trim and Tire on the black molding along the bottom of the car and on top of the bumper.

================

2008 Lexus ES350. Brand spanking new, only had about 500 miles on it. Unmolested by the dealer. I used Ultima Premium Paint Prep with blue Soft Edge polishing pad and topped with Ultima Paint Guard Plus.

It was on the way home from doing these two vehicles that my Mazda got totaled.

Re: A bunch of cars!

1991 Porsche Carrera Cabriolet. Dropped off with a blown engine at a shop that specializes in Porsches. Apparently the owner couldn't afford to get the car fixed and never bothered to pick it up. The owner spends 6 months trying to get the title for the car so he can replace the engine and keep it for himself. Anyway, he gets the title, buys a totaled Carrera and does an engine swap, plus the brakes which stuck to the rotors because the car sat so long. Definitely a lot of swirls too.

Guess which half was polished with Meguiars #83 DACP and a white Sonus polishing pad via UDM?

Both sides with DACP/Sonus. I was told not to worry about the adhesive residue from the missing "2" because he already had another one to put on and wanted to make sure it went in the correct spot.

I followed with Meguiars #80 Speed Glaze using a yellow Meguiars polishing pad and sealed with Clearkote's Carnauba Moose. All the sun by then was in the grassy areas of the lot (about 20 minutes prior to sunset) so all shade final shots.

Woolite/water for leather/vinyl, Biokleen TLC for carpets. Vinyl protected with Optimum Protectant Plus, leather with Meguiars Gold Class Leather Conditioner.

While I was waiting for insurance to put me in a rental, I borrowed my Dad's 2004 Honda Accord. The paint is still nearly perfect so I just put a couple coats of Opti-Seal on it.

=============

A few more shots of the 2006 BMW 750Li that I used the sample of the new NXT v2 on.

================

2006 Volvo S60-R. I used Optimum Polish and Poli-Seal (about 3-4 BB sized dots of each) on an orange Soft Edge one step pad and sealed with 2 coats of Opti-Seal.

Re: A bunch of cars!

2004 Lexus RX330. Overall not too bad except for the mats.

Cleaned with BioKleen Traffic Lane Cleaner and my PC with Cyclo brush attachment.

I thought a 1/2 cleaned shot of the above mat would be more impressive.

Here are a couple of polishing only shots since the sun would be behind the house by the time I finished. Optimum Polish using an orange Soft Edge one step pad, removed using Zaino Z-6.

I followed with Zaino Z5 (customer request) and took these shots. It was already near sunset and by the time I put Clear Seal on, it would be dark.
