My wash water and soap mix did get a shot of what we call "love juice". Nothing dirty. I will explain in Tampa.

Awesome work as always, Joe.

Nothing quite like Meguiars on single stage paint, eh?

I would bet that the owner's jaw hit the ground upon seeing the "new" Mustang. Congrats on a beautiful renewal.

Re: from sad pony to hot pony !!!

Looks great. Red sure oxidizes terribly and your results are stunning. Major difference.

Re: from sad pony to hot pony !!!

Amazing.... just amazing... that's the only word I have.

Also how do you guys know what "single-stage" paint is?

I realize what it is... at least I THINK I do.

Single stage- Clear and Color in one shot... right?

And all others have Color shot... then Clear on top correct?

Anyway how do you know/tell what it is? And why is Meguiar's so effective on single stage as opposed to say Optimum (which I use).

Thanks

No clear at all, just paint.

Re: from sad pony to hot pony !!!

Single stage is the way all vehicles used to be painted. They were painted in an enamel in whatever color you chose. There was no clearcoat on top.
You can tell that a car is single stage when the color comes off on a bit of fine sandpaper. If it is clearcoated no color will show on the sandpaper. Most vehicles today have a base color coat covered with a coat of clear for shine and supposedly to protect the base color.
