White Civic

This was a gift certificate from 2 years ago. Wash & wax, but I couldn't resist. The car was very dirty, however the camera didn't pick up any of it - I didn't take any close ups.

2 hours and 10 minutes

Wash (dawn)
clay
OC Orange pad
Ez creme white pad
OS black pad
Armorall Foam on tires

Re: White Civic

Thank you so much! In person the difference was huge. I don't think they ever wash their cars.

Re: White Civic

I live in Stafford VA and I can attest to that as a fact. Most people here are too busy to wash their cars. (In all honesty though, we are on water restriction now so that is why we can't wash cars, but at the local "wack and hack" wash.

I use ONR with distilled water that I buy from CVS over at the coin-op, so my neighbors won't turn me in. SHHHHH!!!!

Yeah, Im up here just outside Manassas.. Rat race..People would rather wait 2 hours in line at the local gas station car wash rather than do it themselves..Looks great Thomas.

Re: White Civic

Thanks guys once again. The car is an 06. EDITED The paint ""looked"" swirl free when the sun poked out for a few seconds, but I am sure that it could use a real polish. Seemed pretty hard.

Can't wait to do a real detail. (This wednesday and far away but it is an M3 in carbon black )

That's an '06 Civic, not an '04...that body style was new for '06.

I used dawn in a ""QEW"" way so that saves a lot of time. After I was done washing it I clayed it with water in a spray bottle. By the time I finished claying (not too long since this car was more dirty than conteminated) one side of the car was dry and I just went ahead and started polishing. Didn't have to waste time drying. I used very little Optimum Compound so that saved me time as well - I wasn't correcting paint, just cleaning it. Ez Creme is very fast. So is OS.

I hope this helps.
