'97 Voyager

Been a while since I got to detail. Between getting married and being on a honeymoon haven't had much time for detailing. But this one got me back in the saddle...and then some. This was the typical minivan: finger prints all over the glass, food everywhere, tons of dog hair.......you know the drill!!

I spent six hours just on the interior. Most of it on the carpet. Pretreated the carpet w/APC, agitated the carpet with an interior brush and then extracted w/just hot water with UHaul carpet cleaner. Haven't been able to lay down the money for my own yet and these seem to work great for me. Finished the tougher spots w/Folex.

Process for the paint was:
SIP w/yellow CCS
KAIO w/orange CCS
Topped w/OS
Trim treated w/PB Trim Restorer

Same question. Also, did you try anything on the grille?

Re: '97 Voyager

Thanks for the comments guys!!

Brandon1: Good to hear from you! Yep.....it's not as sexy as yours.....but I still love it to death!! Can't remember what life was like without it!!

BlackElantra: Thanks for the congrats!! It is the second best thing I have ever done. (First was divorce my first wife!! )

I used KAIO on the cowl and the mirrors! They cleaned up really nicely!!

Not sure what was on the hood but it was sticky! Wasn't too thick but it was definetly something that was spilled or thrown on there. There was some on the bottom of the windshield as well.

Re: '97 Voyager

I do have a question though. I was at a loss for what to do with the back bumper. It was completly trashed and dried out!! I put four or five applications of PB Trim Restorer on it and it just kept soaking it up. Probably not much you can do when something is as far goen as this was.....but wanted to ask!!
