Titanium 05 Ferrari F430 Coupe

This was a retail job done for one of my very good detail customers. He lives in the city, so it is hard for him to keep the car looking like he wants.

The paint was in pretty decent shape besides a few light/medium scratches and some minor spots on the top surfaces from being parked underneath a tree.

This color really grows on you the more and more you look at it. It looks absolutely amazing in the sun because the flake has such a glow to it that is almost blinding.

PROCESS:

Washed, cleaned wheels and tires
Clayed top surfaces
Spot-buffed scratches with Powergloss using a Meguiars cutting pad @1800 rpm
Buffed complete exterior with Intensive Polish using a foam light cutting pad @1600 rpm
Buffed complete exterior with P106ff using a foam finishing pad @1400 rpm
Hand application of Klasse AIO to complete exterior, glass and wheels
3 Coats of Opti-Seal over a 36 hour period with roughly 12 hours in between coats
Opti-Seal on all exterior glass and wheels
Hand application of UPP to exterior paint (haven't used this forever!)
Tires and wheel wells dressed with Super Blue dressing

Re: Titanium 05 Ferrari F430 Coupe

Thanks Todd,
The pictures were taken with a Sony CD Mavica MVC-CD250 camera, which is only 2.0 megapixels. It's an old camera, but still takes good pictures. My other camera finally died the other day, so I will probably using this one more often. There isn't any special lens on it or anything that I know of. All pictures were shot in automatic mode.

Great work as usual!! I always enjoy your work. Cool to see you switching up the combo's a bit. It's been ages since I have played with UPP.

Thanks,
I always try to mix thing up a bit. UPP is by far the slickest sealant I've ever used and looks incredible on silver cars. I just don't get to use it much. I couldn't stop feeling the paint with the back of my hand after it was finished because of the slickness.

Re: Titanium 05 Ferrari F430 Coupe

I have been reading a lot about UPP...where do you get yours? I have searched a couple sites and can not find it.

The car looks amazing!
