Here is one of my details over the past week. I have dozens of details stored in my camera that I have to find the time to post up. I have just been so busy that it's hard to find time to post as much as I'd like.
This was a detail for the dealership I work for. It has only 4,000 miles on it, so the car was obviousy in decent shape. There were typical light scratches and blemishes from improper washes and some minor swirls from the dealer that sold it new.
It was a pretty simple process.
Washed exterior, cleaned wheels, tires and engine compartment
I spot-buffed the heavier scratches with Optimum Hyper Compound @ 18000 rpm using mild cutting pad.
Buffed complete exterior with
Menzerna Intensive Polish/ RMG Mix @1400 rpm using mild cutting pad.
Buffed complete exterior with Optimum Polish @1400 rpm using a finishing pad.
Applied Opti-Seal to complete exterior paint, windows, plastic, exhaust tips etc.. (let cure over night)
Hand application of Natty's Blue
Aquawax wipedown.
True Blue Dressing on tires & wheel wells
I only ended up getting only a few good sun shots before it set.
Any questions, feel free to ask.
