Black Suburban, 2 tough interiors, swirled LS430, Sienna
But first, a few more shots of that 2006 Z06 that I UPGP'ed (over two applications of Opti-Seal) last week.
===============
2002 Chevy Suburban. Pretty rough overall, lots of scratches (especially on the rear doors) all the way into the primer. The owner had taken it to a local tunnel wash for a detail a few weeks back and frankly, they did a piss poor job. Other than cleaning the mats and dressing the interior, they apparently didn't do anything else inside. Stains under the mats, between the seats and they obviously didn't clean the leather or vinyl before dressing it. He basically wanted me to clean it up enough to sell. He has decided that 4 kids and a black vehicle don't mix. After realizing that the scratches into the primer won't come out, he said to just polish it enough to bring back the gloss and improve the scratched areas as much as possible.
This interior before shot is a pretty accurate representation of the entire middle area of the Suburban (driver's and front passenger areas weren't as bad and neither was the far back).
BioKleen Traffic Lane Cleaner and a Cyclo carpet brush attachment on my PC.
Final interior process was: BioKleen Traffic Lane Cleaner and a Cyclo carpet brush attachment on my PC, vinyl and leather with Woolite/water mix. Dressed with Optimum Protectant Plus.
Wax residue everywhere!!!
After I got the interior deep cleaned, the tires/fenderwells cleaned and dressed, the exterior washed and polished, guess what happened?
Well, crap. No room in the garage either, plus the entrance is too low for the Suburban anyway. Nothing to do but wait...and wait...and wait. For 90 minutes, it spit, drizzled, etc. Just enough that I could not finish. Even worse, I could see just to the west of us, patches of blue sky. We were right on the western edge of rain that just wasn't moving. Finally, the sun came out and....it rained harder!!!!
It finally stopped after an hour and a half and as you can see, Meguiars #80 beads really nice! Lots of drying later, I was able to finish the Suburban.
I polished the paint with Meguiars #80 using my UDM and a yellow Meguiars polishing pad and sealed it with a mystery wax I don't believe I am able to fully discuss yet. I will say it is really slick and wet looking. Fender flares and trim got Ultima Tire and Trim dressing.

Looks great. What do you think of the Ultima Tire and Trim Guard? I've used the beta version (RDF) and it was really thick making it hard to spread.

2004 Lexus LS430 and 2005 Toyota Sienna. Last two cars for the summer at the law firm. Love the money but hate the drive into Dallas.
The Lexus had obviously had the back end refinished. Definitely a new bumper and more orange peel on the back fenders than the rest of the car. The nasty holograms from the body shop idiots were another clue...
UDM, Optimum Compound and a burgandy Meguiars cutting pad and about 10 minutes later....
Two steps on everything, so even though such an aggressive combo (OC and burgandy Meguiars) was finishing down pretty much LSP ready, I opted to finish the car using a yellow Meguiars polishing pad and Poli-Seal. By the time I finished, clouds had rolled in and it even spit a few times. Ugh.
2005 Toyota Sienna. Really good shape overall. In fact, quite amazing for a minivan.
The paint only needed very minor clean-up so I went with a yellow Meguiars polishing pad and Poli-Seal. Finished it off with the final beta version of Optimum Car Wax. The look of the new OCW is a bit deeper and wetter but the main improvements are easier on and off (very QD-like) and noticably slicker right off the bat.

Looking fantastic as always Scott...
Also have you used the Ultima Interior guard plus yet? How does it compare to your Optium you always use.
Is this the Biokleen you use> Product Detail

 Of course, why wouldn't I?
Booyah Bi-O-Kleen - Carpet Care Products <---------- second product listed.
Haven't used the Ultima interior dressing and at the price, probably wouldn't on customer's cars. I use way too much for that to be economical.

Nice work as usual Scott.
I'm a Vette lover by nature, hense my name and I used to own one, but that flag on the side of that Z is just hideous......what are they thinking? Please tell me it's at least vynal and not painted?

The UTTG is totally different that the beta RDF version. The new version is a spray where the RDF was a gel.
I have been using it for a while now. Its the most durable trim dressing I have used. I also use it all the time of the plastic and rubber trim of my boat and waverunners. Being subjected to the marine environment all summer this product has exceeded my expectations.
Nice work as always Scott.

Thanks for the feedback. Are appearance and durability comparable between the two versions?
