Z06, Aviator, Jaguar Vanden Plas

2006 Chevy Corvette Z06. Monthly wash customer, put on the 3rd layer of Opti-Seal since a deep polishing session in April. He has some new wheels coming soon so I'll get some outside shots then.

===========

2003 Lincoln Aviator. It appears to be a special "Kitty Hawk" edition honoring 100 years of flight. This one needed a lot of work. It was recovered by a law firm that goes after slimebags who run investment scams. Since the money these scam artists really isn't their money, they tend to not take very good care of what they buy with it. The paint really wasn't too bad but the interior was really grimey, plus it had obviously been smoked in. I ended up putting more than 8 hours into this vehicle. The lawyer who called me out to clean it graciously took me out for a quick lunch about 1/2 way into the detail.

I used Clearkote's Pink Moose (50/50 blend of Vanilla Moose and Red Machine Glaze) using green Edge Cyclo polishing pads and finished with Carnauba Moose.

The carpeting wasn't really stained but like the vinyl and leather, it just looked grungy. Plus, there is a ton of vinyl and leather to dress, it seemed to take forever. The process was vinyl/leather cleaned with Woolite/water mix, carpets with BioKleen Traffic Lane Cleaner, vinyl dressed with Optimum Protectant Plus and leather with Meguiars Gold Class Leather Conditioner.

2005 Jaguar Vanden Plas. Overall, it was in decent shape but the leather was pretty dirty...very light color and as soon as you touch it, the leather is dirty again. Cleaned relatively easy though. Sorry, no interior pics, ran out of film. Exterior wasn't bad either, some light halo swirls, pretty typical. The paint wasn't very hard though so polishing went pretty quick considering how long this car is.

Half and half shot, about the best I could get with the angle the sun was at. Poli-Seal using green Edge Cyclo pads on the rear door, front door untouched.

Before:

After Poli-Seal:

After Poli-Seal:

After going over the whole car with the Poli-Seal/green Edge combo, I sealed it with Opti-Seal.

Wow! The Vette looks fantastic.

If Opti-Seal could hold that look, I'd buy it by the gallon.

Opti-Seal does hold that look. I wouldn't use it if it didn't.

I didn't realize it was a requirement. What kind of question is that?

i love how the jag turned out. the difference wasn't as apparent in the door shots as it was in the hood shot. I love that paint color and how good it looks in the afters.

Actually a pretty damn funny question. You have to admire the lack of manners.
Beautiful jobs on all three, but I'll take the Jag. Nice improvement and tons of gloss plus who can pass up that color.

Scott, will you let me come hang out with you for a day? The things I could learn...

Your work, as always, is amazing.
