BMW Z4, Silverado, Denali, more of the red Durango
These shots of this 2005 Dodge Durango are a continuation of this thread:
http://autopia.org/forum/click-brag/...o-durango.html
Vinyl and leather cleaned with Woolite/water mix, carpets with Bio-Kleen Traffic Lane Cleaner. Vinyl dressed with Optimum Protectant Plus, leather with Meguiars Gold Class Leather Conditioner. The pics are a touch dark, clouds were rolling in and using flash would have overexposed the seats too much.
A few more exterior shots too. One-stepped it using Optimum Poli-Seal and a white LC CCS polishing pad.

2003 Chevy Silverado and 2007 GMC Denali. Weekly wash customers, although the nearly constant rain through May and June and well into July meant I was lucky to wash them once or twice a month.
I had used a new test version of Optimum Car Wax on the Silverado in mid May and two months later, it still had slickness left, looked good and from the dusty rain drops on the hood before I washed it, the paint was obviously beading nicely. The truck is parked outside at home, covered parking at work.
Anyway, he has a few upcoming road trips and with all the rain we've had, plus are forecast to have, he asked me to give it a quick wax. Some areas of the truck could use a bit of polishing (like both front fenders after the dealer did some work on it) but he said to take care of it this fall when I get it ready for winter. I hadn't used Meguiars NXT Paste in a while, so I went with that. Honestly, I'd forgotten how nice it looks on black for not being a carnauba.
===========
2007 GMC Denali. Just a few shots after an ONR wash to show how well the appearance is holding up, 3 months and a week after applying Optimum Opti-Seal. As anyone in the Dallas area can attest, we've had a lot of rain (about 25" since May 1st) so I am quite happy that something so easy to apply also seems to hold up so well. As with the Silverado, the dusty rain spots show a tight beading pattern and slickness is holding up nicely.

Great job as usual! I always know some good shine is coming up when I open one of your posts. Some great depth on that Z4, especially for that color.
And I second the NXT on black comment. I have been using a lot of #21 and some #16 lately. I just found some NXT that I didn't know I had still and used it on my black truck just to use it up. Wow, it looked great!

Bryan-I love that color too, but the orange peel is pretty bad...like all the other new GM SUVs I have done.

Re: BMW Z4, Silverado, Denali, more of the red Durango
What did you use on rims?
Got my new formula optimum protectant plus and it still smells leathery after a week. Hit leather, vinyl, plastic and is awesome. clings to vetical pieces with almost no runs, and almost zero tackiness. 1 second after wiping protectant, theres almost zero I could get off on my finger. If I had to pick only one thing from optimum, this would be it.

As long as you aren't going to ask me how to detail a car and all the steps and products it takes, yeah, shoot me an e-mail.
machete dave-on all these vehicles, I just washed them with ONR. If I need to do any extra polishing, I use either regular Moose Wax or Wheel Wax.
