Tropically Detailed: Bentley GCT

This car had a lot of swirls, some rock chips on the front, and a couple scratches. Overall it was long day as the paint seems a little on the harder side. The owner, a gentleman named Neil and his family where very accomidating, so even though the day scretched a bit on, it was was a fun detail non the less.

Process

Wash with Meguiars' HyperWash
Clay with Zaino Z18
Rims cleaned with P21s Wheel Gel
Tires clean with Meguiars APC 10:1
Polished with....
Menzerna SIP/Orange CCS pad @ 1500 RPM, 2x3 times
Zaino Z-PC/White Pad @ 1000 RPM
Protected with....
Zaino Z5pro (ZFX'ed) x 2
Zaino Z2pro
Glass cleaned with Stoners' IG
Rims/Brightwork/Glass polished with Zaino AIO
Tires recieved two layers of Zaino Z16

All buttoned up and finished down out with 3 coats of Zaino... The sun was not out, I have been butting heads vs. overcast skys for a couple of details now...

I just did the exact same process and the shine is crazy on blah silver i cant imagine how that car looks with a dark color.

Thanks Jakerooni, I believe he was happy with the way the car came out. He was an absolute gentleman (with a very kind family) so that always makes the job better! I really spent a lot of time on the paint correct, making sure that the panels where flawless under the halogens (unfortunatly the sun never broke out, so once again I couldn't capture the pure beauty of this amazing machine).

Thanks, there are still a couple scuffs, and an area I need to wetsand some touch up paint, but it came out very very well!

When I first started the detail, I looked at how wet the paint looked when the water was laying on it and used that as my guide line. In the first several pictures you can see a distinct difference between the wet and dry areas, with the dry paint looking a little flat. I think I achieved my goal!
