The reason this post is so pic intensive is because I because the owner of the Jaguar took a lot of pictures and several video clips of me working (I actually didn't know he was doing so). I decided to include everything into one, like a story board type of work up.

Total Time was 8 1/2 hours, but I was not working at my fastest speed, instead taking several breaks and talking the owners ear off!
Lets get to the good stuff!
After washing and claying, drying the rims. The paint on this car was already in incrediable shape but there was some light swirls and a few deeper scratches despite being a couple weeks old!
Several pictures from the owner and myself of the Jaguar in the garage after I taped it up using 3M painters tape
There was very light swirling that I could only see in direct sunlight. However the paint did have a couple areas that looked like they where sanded or scrubbed with a rough brush. There was also several scratches on the hood and the driver's side rear quater panel (I was able to remove everything minus one scratch on the driver's side QP).
Here is the before of one of the scratched (sanded) looking defects...
After is the after of the same area. This required
two high speed passes on the rotary with wool and SIP to remove completely.
After I completed taking out several of the scratches and deeper marring, I follwed this with an
Orange CCS pad and SIP and finished down with a White
CCS pad and 106ff.
Checking my work
Spott claying a bit of bonded contaminate before final polishing...
Excellence is in the details...
Finishing up with the white pad, almost done with the polishing...
A couple of videos of polishing the paint that the owner shot...
After dusting the jambs, emblems, nooks and crannies the owner and I dropped the top and removed the tape.
I wiped the engine down with a damp towel and srayed a little Hypressing on a foam applicator. The V-8 is blown and developed more the 400 horsepower!!!
