Porsche Carrera S conv., Ferrari 328, BMW M roadster

First up the Porsche Carrera S cont.

Process

Wash with Zaino Z7, clayed with Zaino clay using #34 as lube
Zaino Z-PC with LC purple wool-foam pad @ 1500
Zaino Z-PC with LC white pad @ 1000
2 x Z2pro (ZFX'd)
Z8 final wipe
Z16 on tires
Z9/Z10 on tires
Z-AIO on rims

Some befores, it was late and starting to drizzle wen I started, so sorry for the lack of photos, but I was in a crunch and it was dark when I finished.

Afters

Next up was a quick follow up detail on a Ferrari 328GTS that I had previously polished.

Washed with Z7
Z6 wipedown
Z2pro (zfx) x 2
Z8 final wipe
Z-CS on rims
Z16 on tires
Z9/Z10 on leather

Finally was a touch of up of an M roadster. It was 10:00 PM when I started so I apologize for quality of the pictures. I had the shutter wipe open to try to get light into the lense but it didn't help to well. I had polished this baby last time and spent 6-8 hours on it, so it was perfect and easy to clean this time. Sadly, this may be the last time I ever work on it as the owner now has his eye on a Ferrari F355 Scuredia

Wash with Z7
Z6 wipedown
Z-CS
Z8
Z16 on tires
Meg's Quik Interior Detailer on interior
Flitz on the exhaust pipes

You do some "very" nice work.

I love the older Ferarri's.

All of them look amazing.

I tried to help indirectly on the Porsche

Were you happy with the polishing results/finish?

The pics look great.

Those all look great.
That old Ferrari still has a super cool factor to it, Magnum PI style.

Excellent work on all 3!

Interesting about the M Roadster, I used to do one as well and the owner sold it and bought a Z06. He loved the car but it just wasn't fast enough.

Nice work!

How was the Purple LC foamed wool pad on the porsche paint?..I think that this pad is quickly becoming my favorite pad for correction but I'm a little leary of using it on softer paints. Just curious for you feedback after using it on the P-car.

Andy

I had to use the PLC wool because my go to combo of Menzera's Cermaclear polishes would not work. They would bind up and actually bog the rotary down (I never experience this).

Z-PC works nicely with the wool pad and does a decent job of correction, though it will leave marring on surface (which is easily cleaned up).

Nice work Todd! Very interesting about the SIP and 106ff not working on the soft porsche clear. Thanks for sharing that great info!
