Just a few more of the red SC430 from this thread:

2002 BMW X5. Just an interior detail. These shots show the cleaning power of Bio-Kleen's Traffic Lane Cleaner. Spray, 5 minute dwell, scrub as needed, wipe with terry cloth towels, wet vac and done!

BTW, the mats are a very accurate representation of how the whole interior looked.

Full interior process: Carpets/mats cleaned with Bio-Kleen's Traffic Lane Cleaner, leather and Vinyl with Woolite/water mix, leather dressed with Meguiars Gold Class Leather Conditioner (spray version) and vinyl with Optimum Protectant Plus.

1998 BMW 740iL. The owner used to have me keep up on it pretty well but now that his girlfriend is driving it and pretty much keeps it trashed out, I may wash it once a month, if that. He is going to trade it in soon since his g/f just had his kid and now between them, they have 4. Probably going to get a small SUV or a minivan. Anyway, to make a long and beautiful story short and ugly, he said to wash it and give it a quick wax. No polishing, not worth paying to have done since his g/f will quickly undo it.

Just gave it an Optimum No Rinse wash and Zaino Clear Seal by hand. This ought to be a real torture test for CS...only needs to last a few months though, the car should be gone by then. Basically, CS seemed to make the clear coat look thicker and minimized some of the swirls and scratches that have developed over the months. It definitely added some much needed slickness!

==============

2003 Mercury Mountaineer. This and the following Odyssey are both owned by my brother. There was supposed to be an 80% chance of rain this past Friday so all my regulars cancelled. My brother called and asked if I wanted to detail his cars, figuring I would otherwise not work that day. Said he'd pay full price but I just couldn't do that...plus he had the Odyssey washed when I got there so I cut him a good deal. Oh yeah...the weather-guessers blew the forecast, not a drop of rain all day and the sun finally came out in the afternoon and then hid on and off behind the puffy clouds.

The Mountaineer was pretty dirty, definitely a Mom-mobile! My brother wasn't sure when it was last washed.

A couple before shots:

I had polished and waxed the Mountaineer in early February and the paint still looked very swirl free. Just gave the exterior an ONR wash and followed with Opti-Seal.

2004 Honda Odyssey. Considering I hadn't polished or waxed it in over a year (Prime and AJ) and 3-4 tunnel washes a month, it still looked halfway decent. Huge advantage of silver, I guess. I went over it with Optimum Poli-Seal using green Edge Cyclo polishing pads and sealed with Opti-Seal. I took this pictures the next morning (I stayed the night) because I didn't finish until about 2 AM. Not that the van was trashed but I didn't get started on the Mountaineer and Odyssey until nearly 4 PM and I took a 2 hour break to go out to dinner with my brother, his wife and my neice-plus I also detailed the interiors of both.

============

2007 Jaguar XK. I detailed it a couple of weeks ago (sealed with Opti-Seal), pretty much non-stop rain since. He wanted it washed and wanted me to try a wax on it this time. He's been reading about detailing in the internet (including here) and wanted me to top Opti-Seal with a carnauba. He did want to make sure I wouldn't have to strip the carnauba to apply more OS in the future and I assured him it works fine over carnaubas.

His wife had a baby this week so he had me wash and wax the Jaguar in the hospital parking lot since he was going to visit his wife then go out with her family after. Helped me out too, since the hospital was closer to where I was than his house.

I gave the car an ONR wash then put on Pinnacle Paste Glaz. It definitely added some depth to the paint. In fact, when the owner came down to see the car after I finished, he was still a good 20 feet away when he said "Now that is the look I wanted!".

The sun popped out for the last two pics, again, the chrome wheels leave a wicked reflection on the pavement.

If you have to detail 3 vehicles in one day, it sure helps if they are all silver! Plus the owner maintains his cars at an exceptional level, he had even had the Range Rover washed the day before.

I took these after detailing the interiors and washing the exteriors, just before taking a lunch break.

My lunch break took longer than expected, apparently it was idiot day at Wendy's and they were all in front of me in line. Honestly, if ordering at a fast food restaurant is hard for you, how do you hold a job? Anyway, I digress....

The X5 was still looking really good (polished in early spring) so it just got a coat of Opti-Seal and the Porsche and Range Rover just needed a light clean-up so they got Poli-Seal using a white LC CCS polishing pad and Opti-Seal.

Sorry the pics aren't that great. His driveway has an odd shape and about 20% of it was in the full sun but not enough for a vehicle to be entirely in the sun. I guess I could have moved them out front but....

1. They aren't my cars
2. I'd been there a good 10-11 hours and wanted to go home!

I just saw one of those jags on the road for the first time the other day but in red, man was it sick.

The cars look awesome Scott, what attachments do you use for your Ridgid? The carpets in that X5 took a huge turnaround, and I want to know what you use to streak the carpets in that way.

Superb work as always Scott! Particularly the wet white Jag and the X5 interior. Send the rain our way, it's awfully hot and dry here in West Michigan!

Scott -

I'm glad the flooding has stopped so you can go back to earning a living. The Red Lexus is unreal but frankly I'm most impressed with the Bio-Clean. Did you use the standard dilution ratio or bump it up a bit for the pics shown? This product really intrigues me.

Awesome work Scott! the silver ones are super sexy and wet, but that Lexus looks like someone had a garden hose over it with running water!
