Black M5

I beileve that I have deleted the befores that were taken awhile back. Sorry. No sun shots either.

I wish I had 14 hours to work on it but I only had 7 hours to play with. So the car isn't 100%. More like 90%. But that is alot considering what it looked like before.

Process:

wash
clay
Powergloss 1700rpm white pad whole car
EC foamed wool pad 1700rpm (trunk/hood)
SIP green pad 1500 rpm
sip orange pad pc
sip white pad pc
Poli Seal pc white pad
CG's extreme coat pc green finishing pad
grape dressing on tires

Re: Black M5

While the menzerna polishes dusted today they worked very well on this extremely hot black paint.

PS: I love PG!!!!!!!!!!! The finish it left behind was beautiful.

Re: Black M5

*ussually* after heavy compounding with wool you have to take a few extra steps in polishing with foam to fix it.

Honestly i think its 1 step to many but of course i wasnt there and do not know how this paint reacted to what he was doing.

Re: Black M5

Gorgeous Thomas! The E39 looks awesome!

How did you do that many polishing steps in 7 hours?

Re: Black M5

That's a lot of steps! Great job!

Thomas- Any reason using PG vs EC? Ever since I have used EC, I never really touch my PG anymore.
