1965 Porsche 356 Cab

This is a detail of a 1968 Porsche 356 Cabriolet that I did today. The car has been completely restored and was a joy to work on. I apologize for the crappy pics. I must have had the white balance set incorrectly

Time: 5 hours

Process:

Interior cleaned with Wooilte 10: 1
Leather dressed with Four Star Leather Conditioner
Vinyl dressed with Sonus Total Eclipse
Wash with Gilmour Foam Gun and NXT Wash
Clay with Megs White Clay
Polish with Megs #80 and UDM with Sonus Green Pad
Polish with Megs #83 and Sonus Orange 4 inch pad (spot correction)
NXT x 2 via PC with Megs 8006 pad
Tires dressed with EO Wet Tire Spray
Wheel Wells Dressed with Street Appeal Tire Dressing
Engine dressed with Stoners Trim Shine
Glass Cleaned with NXT Glass

Great job!

What type of lens are you using for the 'vintage' photo look?

Thanks for the compliment.

I was using the "I set the white balance totally wrong lens"

Somehow it got changed off of Auto. Pisses me off cause it was cloudy all day and just as I finished the sun came out. The reflections were fantastic...

Looks great Pat but I wish the blue tint was missing so we could see the level of wetness.

It's a really beautiful car and judging from your past work the detailing is likely top notch.

I hear you on the clouds. The sun has been in & out all weekend.

Not too great for pictures.

Anyways.... the car looks really great, and I'm sure in person it looked unreal.
