Zaino treatment on my wife's van
Finally I had a chance to see what all the fuss is all about.
Over the weekend the weather didn't really cooperate as far as taking pictures. Overcast city and unfiortunately this car color never does well with it. Not sure why.
Day 1 and this is what I started with. Wasn't too bad if you ask me

Re: Zaino treatment on my wife's van
Dawn wash
Meg's Clay
ZPC - both pc and (rotary in a few places)
ZAIO - pc 6 - worked it in until nearly gone.
Z6 - to remove residue
Z5 Pro - pc to apply
The weather was extremely humid and I had a hard time removing it even after an hour.
Z6 wipe
ZCS - via pc
PS: Please see how much CS is missing from the bottle after using it on several cars.
Took some pictures but I don't really like them.
Called it a day.

Re: Zaino treatment on my wife's van
After all the work my wife went out for awhile and of course we received an unpredicted storm. No biggie, but I was amazed how Z16 held up. What an excellent product!
next day I gave it a quick QEW.
Z8 was applied as per label with a MF towel.
The sky looked a little better but still overcast.
Here are the after pictures:
Thoughts later.

Re: Zaino treatment on my wife's van
Very clear and wet finish.
Try using Z5 by hand and go thin, should be pretty easy to remove after about 15 minutes.
BTW, the weather has absolutely sucked here, 20 days of rain out of 29 so far this month.

Re: Zaino treatment on my wife's van
Way to go!! Looks like you were in the money. I would also suggest Z5pro application by hand. Apply it so thin you can barely see it! It should wipe off with ease after 15 minutes. The van looks stunning. If you could, I would love to see some flake shots pending the sun coming out.
I can't wait until you wash the car. The way the water sheets off the car after your mitt passes over it will leave you speechless.

What am I missing here?
You make it sound like this is the 1st time you're using Zaino products but I've seen your other posts where you used it on your paid details.
Btw, the van looks great.

Re: Zaino treatment on my wife's van
tdekany, nice job. I too worked on my wifes ride this weekend. Having used many other products, thought it was time I tried the big "Z". I used Z2pro about a month ago and was satisfied with the results. It brighten up the white nicely. So this time I decided to top it with Z5pro and was totally impressed. I applied two coats and it just looks like a wet candy coating!
That is a awesome looking salad. What was that mixture on top with the sausages?

Re: Zaino treatment on my wife's van
Nice write up, the wife's van looks great. I would recommend using clear seal and Z2/Z5 by hand only. The PC can spread the coats even, but by the time you put enough on the prime the pad, you have wasted ALOT of product and you might put it on too thick (which is why it was a bear to remove).
1/2 ounce should give you an easy three coats on everything on the bus, including the glass, roof, and body panels. CS should go on super thin, maybe four spritz's for the entire car!
