OptiSeal @ 8 weeks on Porsche Turbo

This is that wild and very rare Signal Green 3.6 Turbo that I detailed back in the first week of April and the first time since then that I washed it. The owner had it washed once and got rained on a few times in the past weeks but it has had no waxes or sealants applied since I last detailed it.

This is the pre-rinse

The following pictures are after washing and rinsing.

The dirt on it from the rain came all off just from the pre-rinse, washing and drying were a breeze. After I dried it I applied one more coat of OptiSeal and then was able to get some outdoor pictures....

Thanks,
Anthony

Looks great! Still slick, and any dull spots where layering didn't bond right?

Re: OptiSeal @ 8 weeks on Porsche Turbo

Looks great. I think the durability will be exceptional especially considering the lack of effort to apply the product. I have put several coats on the sides and lower parts of my daily driver but purposely put one coat only on the roof. I will be watching the beading on the roof over the hot summer months to see how well it stands up.
Appearance wise it is a definite winner.
I'm sure Miss Piggy would approve of the Porsche.

Looks really good!! I remember when you gave this baby the spa treatment...Still love the color.

Opti-Seal looks great even after 8 weeks.

Very good to hear since I just ordered some Poli-Seal. Do you have any pointers on applying it to get similar results? Nice job.

Did you use ONR to wash it?

Re: OptiSeal @ 8 weeks on Porsche Turbo

So Poli-seal is an AIO whereas this is just a sealant correct? Very impressive for a spray type thingy. I wonder if you could layer this over Poli-seal like you can layer KSG over KAIO? It seems the poli-seal might take the place of Klasse for bodywork in my lineup, and this could follow not too far behind.

Re: OptiSeal @ 8 weeks on Porsche Turbo

Hello people,

Thanks for the positive feedback

As for the color...well it's a very WILD color and not for everyone BUT as far as I can tell through research this is a one-of-a-kind for this year and make 3.6 Turbo....it may very well be the only Signal Green in the world.

I washed this using the traditional wash suds and bucket because I wanted to see the beading. I tried to get to a Volvo also that was detailed about 4 months ago with the beta OptiSeal but just not enough time.

PoliSeal followed by OptiSeal is a very nice combo but make sure the PoliSeal is well bonded for best results.

I had two streaks on the hood that were wiped off with a simple wipe with a MF. I also got a new camera a week ago but I am very unhappy with the image output....kinda looks fuzzy on my end. I'll have to take it back if it continues.

Well thanks again and hope to have more pics up tomorrow.

Anthony
