Accord, SL500, filthy King Ranch F-250, G35 teaser

2003 Honda Accord. I detail this one 2-3 times a year. Paint still looked pretty good from the last time, so I polished it with Zaino All in One using a black LC CCS finishing pad and sealed with Optimum Opti-Seal.

==================

2003 Mercedes SL500. Had light to moderate swirls and a few scuffs here and there. She said it had been detailed a few time by others (she got my name from a regular of mine who works with her) and had never been happy. Said it looked like results she could have attained herself. She seemed very pleased with my work and wants me to wash her and her husband's BMW a couple times a month when I am in their area.

Optimum Compound using orange Edge Cyclo cutting pads, Meguiars #80 Speed Glaze with a white LC polishing pad and my 80/20 blend of Meguiars #16 and FK's Pink Wax.

Interior-Leather and vinyl cleaned with Woolite/water, carpets with BioKleen Traffic Lane Cleaner. Vinyl dressed with Optimum Protectant Plus, leather with Zaino Z-10.

2005 Ford F-250 King Ranch edition. Nice truck but he lives out in the country and only has me wash it every few months. Never been waxed and it had been at least 3-4 months since I had washed it last. I am at their office every Tuesday but I guess he just doesn't care about his truck that much.

I have no idea when it was last washed but the weather here has been horrible for the last 6-8 weeks. Regular severe storms, sometimes storms were popping up every afternoon.

It should be pretty obvious which side was washed with Optimum No Rinse in both half/half shots...

=============

2004 Infiniti G35. Regular customer, I see this one about 5 times a year, he is very good about having it waxed too. Now that the weather has improved, he wanted it deep polished. I used a total of 3 products on this hood, but there is no wax or sealant on it yet. Anyone want to venture a guess as to what I used? Rest of the pics are on the new roll, you'll have to wait for the rest.

Actually, it was Pink Moose, so you got two of the products. Anything visually tip you off?

I used a heavier polish first though, any guesses?

I would say OHC for the heavier polish and your #16.

I havent used RMG yet, but Im gonna buy some on the strength of what I seen so far.

I think the tip off for me was just the soft glow of the surface, albeit under shade. That has been my experience when working with CMW and VM.

As to the polish, hard for me to say. You work outdoors a lot, so I doubt you were using menzerna... but I could be wrong. Only reason I say this is because, i do believe menzerna can be used in sunlight, but one has to be judicial about usage. It is more an issue when using a rotary versus a d/a type machine. Ive only used a cyclo very briefly and that was long ago, so again I just dont know.....

Im just gonna hazard a guess and say OP

Not Optimum, not Menzerna.

Scottwax on the accord did you use a rotary or a PC with the black finishing pad? What speed?
