'02 Tundra

Did this one on Saturday. Wanted to get it done quick so that I could enjoy Mother's Day with my MIL to be. My mom passed away in '99 and it so wonderful to finally be a part of family again!!

This is from the same family as the X5 I did recently. They take such great care of the thier cars that, when I cralwed underneath to check out the brake dust damage on the inside of the rims.....there wasn't any!! NONE!! I couldn't believe it!I wiped them down with APC and put a coat of DG #105 on them and that's all I had to do....to the insides. I spent almost two hours detailing the outsides of them however!!

The interior was in great shape and required only a quick wipe down and vacuum. I did condition his leather seats thought which prompted me to try something different. I used Megs cleaner/conditioner to clean the seats with. I used DG leather conidtioner on the seats. While I had the cleaner on the rag I ran it over the dash and left it with a very nice matte finish. I read the bottle and the stuff had UV protectors in it as well as some oils so I fugred what the heck! I told the customer that I was using him as a guinea pig and to let me know how long it held up! I will keep you all informed!

**EDIT** Just realized that I didn't say what I used on this one!!

Wash w/dawn
Clayed w/Megs Clay
Polish w/ XMT#4 on yellow CCS
SSR 1 on ornage CCS
KAIO on white CCS
DG PBA
DG #105 (Will follow up with AW in a couple days)
Engine - DG and HD
Wheels - WB and DG #105
Interior was explained above
Headlights were clayed, KAIO and PlastX. Given a quick coat of AW.

Re: '02 Tundra

For a couple of reasons......

I have the same year/color Tundra and now I know what my truck would look like with rims.... ...and the fact that my fingers were DONE by the time I finished!!

Re: '02 Tundra

I know what you mean about the wheels. I did this Toyota a few weeks ago, same wheels looks like. what a pain to get into all the crevices.

the truck came out great. love the color.

Re: '02 Tundra

Great Job on that truck dude.

Got a question, how many miles does he have on those toyos? I have about 20,000 on mine and they seem to be almost 1/2 done.
