2007 Lotus Exige S

The car had 165 miles on the clock before I commenced my labor. Fortunately, I was given a ride in it and it was fun. The owner did not push it much since it was a new car, no problem with that though, I enjoyed it either way. Next time maybe I'll be able to drive it. Nevertheless, after the drive, the owner specifically wanted me to remove the dealer-induced swirls, so I got to work. Here was my process:

-ONR
-Poli-seal applied with green Edge 2000 pad and PC (despite my complaints about sealing capabilities, the product truly cuts clearcoat well when used with a light-cut pad. I've been able to produce a swirl-free finish on Audi paint a few days ago! This stuff truly saves me time)
-Collinite 476S
-P21S

I really took my time on this one, which made me stay till late, meaning no nice reflection shots or good metallic flake shots either. Nevertheless, I liked the way the paint came out. One problem that I could not correct though was the "marring" on the starshield towards the front of the car. I heard you should not polish this area, so I did not. Any suggestions on how to remove scratches/marring on the starshield? You can probably see marring on some of the before pictures.

And my favorite pic of the night:

Here is a better shot of some of the marring from the Starshield/clear bra...Take a look at the driver's side small headlight. To the left of this small light, you will see streaks. This is the stuff that did not want to come off. I even tried a small area with Optimum polish and a light cut pad without improvement:

Looks like a beautiful Pearl Orange. The Exige S models are very low production from what I hear and they are absolute beasts on the track!!

Very wet looking finish, even in the dark! Beautiful color too.

Thank-you all for the comments! Unfortunately, the vehicle was damaged by some idiot. The owner is fine, just frustrated, but it will get back to being perfect soon I bet.

Re: 2007 Lotus Exige S

EDIT: Nevermind, I re-read the post and my initial comment was irrelevant.

The Lotus looks great though.

Star Shield? Is this a Clear Bra?
If it's the 3M film you can PC it. Might not be perfect but will be alot better.
