Re: 2 repeat M3s

Looking good...got a few questions...

-Steam on the exterior? Could you explain where and why?
-Poli-seal with no polishing? I thought this was a wipe on, walk away product with no cleaning ability?
-Do they mind putting a cover on in the road? I had the cops at my place in a day when I did that in CT.

Re: 2 repeat M3s

Hi Sean - It is opti seal.

The white car was in excellent shape. I have been taking care of it since 2005. It had #16 on it and wasn't driven all winter. Still very slick. I do much better with the pc applying lsps.

The car is going to a show tomorrow. Steamed around badges, plastic moldings and every possible cracks where dirt had sattled.

How are you doing?

Re: 2 repeat M3s

PS: In that neighborhood you will not see cops driving around, so it is ok to do.

Re: 2 repeat M3s

The cars look great tdekany! What are your thoughts on using Opti-Seal with the PC? Do you find yourself having to use more or less product when applying this way?

I've only gotten to use my Opti-Seal once, and I learned that I'm using a bit too much product because in certain areas it streaked, but nothing that a little buff with a MF couldn't fix.

Re: 2 repeat M3s

BlackElantraGT

Anthony sent me 2 yellow applicator pads. Did the passanger side with it but once I started on the hood I started seeing smears where I would spray the paint. Out came the pc and an lc blue pad. Speed 3 worked like a charm. As far as I could tell, the blue pad didn't absorb the product. You really need small amount to work with (pad). I think I used even less with the pc.

I am much faster with the pc. Doing it by hand, my work looks like a big mess.

brwill2005

Thank you. It means alot coming from you.

Mustang - it is my pleasure. I hope to send more of them your way.

Dent's & Details

See above.

As far as the look of Opti Seal - It made white more wet lookin and gave it a much sharper look. Not sure what the proper words is to discribe the look....

Well here is one I thought of. MUCH BETTER!!!

Definately a winner.

PS: I tried using it on another car 2 days ago. The bottle was sitting in my car all morning in the sun and when I pressed the yellow applicator against the paint to spread the product, I couldn't! I needed an orange pad and the pc to get it off the paint. Do follow the instraction on the label. Don't use it if too hot.

Maybe they need someone to exercise it for them?
