Limo, Suburban, ML430, 650, 330, WRX-STI, ONR vs pollen

2003 Lincoln Town Car limo. Private limo owned by one of my customers. I haven't even washed it in about a year, that responsibility falls to the driver who usually runs it though the touch free when he gasses it up. Wasn't in too bad of shape since I had deep polished it last year but I was told not to go nuts on it, basically just give it a quick polish and wax. I opted to use Optimum Poli-Seal and a white LC polishing pad, which got out about 85-90% of the light swirls and topped with Opti-Seal.

You can already see pollen settling on the hood in this shot.

2007 Chevy Suburban. Weekly wash customer, tips me very well, so I toss in a quick wax on each of his vehicles (he also has a Cadillac DTS) ever few months. I went ahead and use Zaino Clear Seal on it. Gave it a really nice shine, almost like it had another layer of clear coat.

Pollen vs Optimum No Rinse. Yeah, pollen season is in full swing. You can see clearly what has been washed and what hasn't in the first two pics.

Greenish looking ONR and water in the bucket-very appropriate considering it was Saint Patrick's Day!

All clean and headed right back into the garage.

1999 Mercedes ML430. A hand-me-down to the owner's high school age daughters. I haven't really done much to it for more than a year since they got a new ML. This time though, the Dad was pretty upset about all the light scratches, scuffs and swirls in the paint. Looked like their daughters took it to a coin-op and used the foam brush on it. Anyway, he said to clean it up as best I could without going overboard as this ML will be parked in a high school parking lot for another couple of years. I went with Optimum Polish using green Edge Cyclo pads and was really happy to see OP was removing the vast majority of defects, it did an amazing job on all the hairline scratches. Not much sunlight to capture the defects and definitely none after so no befores. Probably should have taken some anyway. After OP, I followed with Poli-Seal as my final polish and LSP.

You can see the owner and his wife looking at the ML, reflected in the rear quarter panel:

We also did a quick wash and wax on his BMW 650. I opted to use Opti-Seal on it.

2003 BMW 330i. I see this one once or twice a year. I last deep polished it last May and he maintains it with 4 Star UPP (both the cleaner and sealant) so the swirls and defects were pretty minor, at least what I could see with the two or three quick peeks of sun we got. I went ahead and used Optimum Polish using the green Edge Cyclo polishing pads and followed with Poorboy's Polish w/Sealant using a white LC polishing pad. Sealed with Optimum's Opti-Seal by hand. The owner also took some pics, I am hoping he will forward them to me.

============

2006 Subaru WRX-STI. The owner had been a regular customer but moved to Florida, then Georgia for a couple of years and moved back recently. He got in touch with me to clean his WRX. He ended up bringing it to me since he really doesn't have a good place for me to work on it. Good thing it has a clear bra, the love bugs really did a number on the front end, etching the clear bra in many areas. Not much I can do about that and he is thinking of replacing it anyway.

The paint was really good, only light swirls. Same process as the 330. OP, PwS and Opti-Seal.

Thumbs up as always Scott. All of the vehicles look like they need to be put in the garage now!

Excellent job as always Scott.

Great job on the limo... How long did that take you, from start to finish?

That limo brings me back to my day when I polish those things up... terrible memories! Good job.

Great job! You knocked out A LOT of black paint in that post -WOW!!! All of them look fantastic.

Are you applying Poli-Seal to glass, textured trim, wheels, etc... or just on the paint?

Great work as always, but I believe that the Subaru is a 2005, not a 2006. The 2006 has the new front end and the roof vane spoiler.
