It is the camera, filling the majority of the frame with either a white or pearl car, or a dark blue or black car throws off the exposure, even with matrix metering. Doesn't help that most of the paved areas here are concrete and like with the 330ci, I sometimes am stuck in areas where the background is sunny still (like late afternoon) and the car is in the shade. I also forgot to change from the bright sun exposure setting when I shot the 330, which tends to throw off the exposure badly if the car isn't in the full sun.

If I could get the damn thing to work properly in manual mode, I could simply split the difference of the background and subject exposure.

Nice job. The digital pictures look much more natural.

Nice work Scott. I too find your dig pics more appealing, to my eye at least.

So far I have found that CS does add gloss and some depth to Z5pro on some different reds.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts.

All of them look great. It sounds like you are liking the Opti-Seal better than the Clear Seal. From what I can see in pictures, the Opti-Seal looks to be a very wet LSP.

I think in most cases, at least with the limited testing so far, I'd probably reach for Opti-Seal first. Now, if I had a certain look I wanted to lock in, I'd probably go with Clear Seal.
