Another M3 - Jett black version. Part 1!

I think it is an '04 with about 30K+ on it. Came from New York. the owner found me on an M3 forum. I finished after 7:00pm so there are no after pictures. The owner promised to take pictures of it tomorrow. Rear bumper needs to be polished again - wasn't swirl free which we found out too late. I started around 10:30am.

Holograms are not showing, but someone sure butchered this one up. WAIT!

Re: Another M3 - Jett black version.

I was able to take two ""after"" pictures though.

this one was after EC/OHC/orange ccs pad/1500 rpm and just wiped off most of the residue to show that I am able to remove paint

This pictures is before CG's glaze - after 106ff/RMG/white LCVC pad/pc/6, although it was getting dark already as you can tell.

More tomorrow hopefully.

Thanks Z28! Although I am not sure if I was going for the chrome look.

I was looking for a deep warm look. Oh well.

How are you going to post a click and brag without good afters

I can't wait to see the others. From the look of the fender/hood shot you got what you were going for... DEEP!

Re: Another M3 - Jett black version.

man wha ta wonderful job. those m3 paints are not easy to work with! my friend on BFC hired me to do the job on his Interlagos blue m3 and i could barely touch the hood with my pc, with full pressure and with SSR 2.5 (before i started my "hardcore" detailing job). So i'm going to hit it again wiht my rotary and HTEC too.

I bet the car looks awesome... but man 9 hours?!

Re: Another M3 - Jett black version.

After the 106ff/RMG/white LCVC pad/pc/6 step, the paint already looked so wet and deep, can't imagine how good the car will look in the after photos.
