Mercedes S550, Ford GT California Special, 1999 Carrera
2007 Mercedes S550. Weekly wash customer. Last sealed in September using Werkstatt's Prime and Acrylic Jett. Still looked pretty good after an Optimum No Rinse Wash, decent slickness too, but since the car sits outside 24/7 (not sure why his wife's '02 BMW X5 gets the garage), plus all the crappy weather we've been having, I went ahead and added another layer of Acrylic Jett to make sure the car would be well protected through spring and into early summer.
BTW, a couple of weeks ago when I was washing it, he was late for a dinner and his wife still wasn't home for him to use her X5. He asked me if I could drive him to the restaurant. I said sure, thinking he'd just have me drive him in my car. He said instead "let's take mine". The restaurant was about 3 miles away and when we got there, he handed me the keys, smiled and said "keep it under 80 or so". Obviously, I am not going to beat on a customer's nearly $100,000 car, but I did get on it to around 65 mph once and DAMN! that sucker moves for a car that big. So quiet too. Behind the wheel, it feels a lot smaller than it actually is.
Anyway, pics.
Before anyone asks, no, those wheels are not fun to clean.

2007 Ford Mustang GT California Special. Brand new, owner politely refused dealer prep. Plus, while I was there, she came out and asked me to remove the dealer emblem-told her that was the first thing I did!
The car is two weeks old, obviously in excellent shape. I think I got a total of 60 seconds of sunlight the whole time I was there, enough to see the paint was swirl free. I went ahead and used Werkstatt's Prime via PC using a blue Propel finishing pad and sealed the car with Acrylic Jett. The very overcast sky isn't the best for taking pics, basically all I was getting in some shots is the white reflection of the clouds off the blue paint, effectively washing out some of the pics I took. Hopefully when I am out there again in two weeks, the sun will be out and I can get some metallic flake shots.
While I was there, I also washed their 2007 Z06 and tossed on a coat of Souveran over (since September... Souveran x 3, followed by Carnauba Moose x 3) the paint.

1999 Porsche Carrera. It was in decent shape, some light scratches and scuffs and a few areas looked hazy. As you can see in the before shot (wheels and fenderwells already done though), it doesn't look too bad at all.
Typically soft black Porsche paint, although not quite as soft as the 997s. Optimum Polish via green Propel Cyclo pads were enough to remove the light hazing, scuffs, etc. I followed with Optimum Poli-Seal using a white LC polishing pad via PC and topped with Meguiars #16. The rear rubber bumperettes and the plastic around the windshield wipers were dressed with Meguiars Hot Shine Tire Gel.
After shot of above for comparison:
My son cleaned the interior using Woolite/water and dressed with Optimum Protectant Plus.

Are you married Scott? You would understand
The GT looks great, My subaru wagon has a similar color (maybe not as metallic) and I have noticed that Acrylic sealants make it look fantastic.

Amazing as usual!! You have become my standard for detailing. Whenever I do a car and my wife says how good it looks I always say "Thanks.....but it's not as good as Scottwax". She just rolls her eyes and laughs!
