Re: Scratch repair with the rotary!!!
Yeah, I had that done to my rear bumper recently. It was a hit and run in a aprking lot. I took some 1200 sandpaper and wetsanded it and then took 3M heavy duty rubbing compound to it. I finished that off with 3M Imperial microfinishing compound. I completely removed any trace of the damage.
At any rate, you did a great job.

Re: Scratch repair with the rotary!!!
Good grief, and I was worried! That is more severe than anything on my truck, except for oxidation!
You really did a stellar job! Congratulations.

Re: Scratch repair with the rotary!!!
Thanks everyone for the comments, especially the last one! Very funny but no, it was not repainted, just rotary power and patience. And yes, it was done at a gas station because in college it is difficult to find power outlets available.

Re: Scratch repair with the rotary!!!
Do you work at the gas station? I'm just wondering how you got to use their power? It looks as if you did a complete detail judging by all the supplies seen in the reflection.
Great job btw!

Re: Scratch repair with the rotary!!!
Good guess clnfrk, but the reason why I have all of my detailing supplies spread-out was because I just got back to VA for college, and I had yet to empty out the trunk full of detailing supplies. I did not fully detail the vehicle, just this piece I took a picture of. One time I saw somebody else use their power source, so I went inside and asked if I could use it too, and the employee said sure! Thanks for the compliments as well
