Audi A4 Detail

This was an Audi A4 that I recently did. The car was pretty bad with tar and grime all over. I actually got a chance to try the new Poorboys Polish With Sealant (PWS). This product is great. It goes on very easy and leaves the surface super slick. Abrasiveness is pad dependent.

Detail time: 6.5 hours

Process was:

Wash with NXT soap with 1 oz of PB Bug Squash
Clay with Meguiars Clay bar
Tar removed with PB's Bug Squash
Tires and Wheels cleaned with Eagle One A2Z x2
Tires dressed with Megs Insane Tire Spray
Wheel wells TW 2001
Interior cleaned with Woolite and water and Megs ID
Leather dressed with Autoglym Leather Conditioner
Glass cleaned with NXT Glass and a Pakshak glass towel
Lower trim Megs NXT Trim Protectorant
Polish with PB PWS via PC
Headlights polished with Megs Plastix

Befores:

Re: Audi A4 Detail

Looks good! When you cleaned the rims, did you take them off or did you use a long brush to get in the wheels?

Re: Audi A4 Detail

Looking good there

Why anyone would let an Audi go like that is beyond me. Hopefully they will become a regular customer so you can keep it up for them.

Re: Audi A4 Detail

So how well exactly did PWS do on hard Audi clear? Or was the paint relatively swirl free? I just got a sample of it and just wondering about the cut. Also, do you have any idea what kind of durability to expect?

Definitely looks great in the after shots.

Re: Audi A4 Detail

Pat-great job on the detail! I really like the PWS. I've used it on about 7 vehicles now. It leaves the paint really slick like the Poli Seal and it smells really good too! I think it is going to be a big hit.

Scott..

The PWS did a great job on the swirls on the Audi even with the hard clear. According to Steve at PB's the abrasiveness of PWS is pad dependent. I was using it with a Sonus Green pad and it did a great job. Since this was the first time using it durability remains to be seen.

It was a extremely easy product to use. It melted into the paint and left it SUPER slick.

I see it as a winner...
