BMW 650, 740, Mercedes GL450, Dakota, Civic

A few more quick pics of that '04 Carrera from last time (Poli-Seal, Natty's Blue). I was out to do the first wax on his wife's new GL450 and in the week since I'd detailed the Porsche, he drove to the Texas panhandle and back and the car was filthy. Cleaned right up with ONR and still looked insanely wet.

=============

2007 Mercedes GL450. Only a few weeks old, didn't let the dealer touch it per my recommendation. The paint looked really good, so I went over it with Optimum Poli-Seal using a white LC polishing pad and topped with Optimum Car Wax. Super easy two step if the paint is in decent condition.

This shot shows (sorta!) the two large glass panels in the roof:

2002 Honda Civic. Regular customer, I see it and their LS430 every 6-8 weeks. Wash one, wax the other. Civic's turn this time. No need to polish since I did that the last time. I used my 80/20 blend of Meguiars #16 and FK's Pink Wax. Turned out very wet.

=============

2006 Dodge Dakota. Just wanted a quick one step on it. Optimum Poli-Seal and a white LC polishing pad.

Last time I get to do this 1996 BMW 740iL. He bought a brand new BMW 650 and it giving the 7 to his Dad. I deep polished it over the summer and it still looked pretty good, so this time I just went with Optimum Poli-Seal using a white LC polishing pad, 80/20 blend of Meguiars #16 and FK's Pink Wax by hand.

Only a couple of pics, I only had 4 shots left on the roll and no backup. I wanted to at least have a couple shots of the 650.

2007 BMW 650. Dealer tried to sell him a sealant package, he said he just laughed and told them not to touch the car. All it needed was some Poli-Seal via white LC polishing pad to noticably deepen the shine and wetness. He was amazed that a simple one step could make a noticable improvement on brand new paint.

Great job as always! I especially like the 2 BMWs, they look so deep and wet.

That GL is HUGE but those dual glass roofs look sweet.

Re: BMW 650, 740, Mercedes GL450, Dakota, Civic

A little off topic but i one used a 80/20 blend of RMG/OP on a 200 mile C6, black. And it made a very noticeable difference in darkness/wetness in the paint. It had been washed once by the dealer and once by the owner, so it had slight swirls, hence the optimum polish. I then sealed it with wolfgang deep gloss paint sealant.

Sorry now back to topic.
GREAT JOB ON THE BEEMERS SCOTT.

Re: BMW 650, 740, Mercedes GL450, Dakota, Civic

What would've happened if his 650 got your 80/20 blend?....tooooooo wet?

I'm thinking this guy will always have the confidence to buy black cars since he's got you to make it all super nice for him. It doesn't get any wetter than those black Bimmers...that's for sure.

Excellent work! The wettness of shine achived on the lighter colours is particularly impressive as its not easy to achieve such a finish on ligher colours like white and silver. Black BMs look supberb too.

All of them look awesome as usual. Insane depth on that 740, and the 650 is really hot. Looking forward to you posting more pics of that one in the future.
