2006 RX330 revisited 365 days later

Car was in very good shape both in & out.

Exactly 1 year ago I prepped this car and used FK1 #2180 to protect it. 2 days later i went back and applied another layer of #2180. I then casually told the owner that the protection will last about a year.

Normally I detail their cars about every 3 months.

So he did't call me for a whole year!!! Boy, am I a bad business man?.

I can tell you that FK1's claim of 12 months is right on and this car sits outside 24/7. The paint still felt pretty good.

Today I washed it
spot clay (sap)
aio pc green light cut FK1 pad speed 6
FK1 #1000 Sealant pc blue propel pd speed 3
TOL's Grape dressing x2 on tires
FK1 #108 on plastic trim

I will not mention the inside story, since I didn't take pictures and I didn't have the key to move the car to get better pictures.

Very wet and flakey. Good to know about the durability of the 2180, as I just ordered some.

Thanks Poppa!

As FK1 recommends: For maximum protection, use 2180 and top it with 1000. You also get an extremely slick surface.

Hahaha that car has a lot of dandruff (flakes). I'm just being silly but the car looks like a million bucks. And youre not being a bad salesman, youre just an honest salesman.
