1995 Range Rover, 2006 Mazda MX-5--first half of Waco details
I have a friend on another board who lives down in Waco. I went down there about a year ago to detail his Jeep and Audi TT. He got hold of me a couple weeks ago and said he had 4 vehicles. A 1995 Range Rover he bought off Ebay, a 2006 Mazda MX-5 he bought for his girlfriend, a Dodge Ram 2500 he just wanted wax and his Audi TT.
My son and I got up early on a 41 degree Sunday morning and made the 100 mile drive down to Waco. We started with the Range Rover and the MX-5. I took these pics after cleaning and dressing the tires and fenderwells while my son was finishing up vacuuming them.
The Range Rover had been repainted and not too well. Really bad orange peel but at least it had relatively light swirls-in this before shot, you really can't even see any except near the brush guard.
Here is the left rear door after washing:
After polishing with Optimum Polish using green Propel lite cut Cyclo pads:
And after sealing with my 80/20 Meguiars #16/FK's Pink Wax blend:

Awesome Work Scott! Looks like the kitty had to turn its back to the paint since it was getting blinded by the shine!

2006 Mazda MX-5. Only 3 months old so not too bad, right?
Before:
Before, but not resized but cropped:
Light water spots and a few very light swirls. Optimum Polish using green Propel lite cut Cyclo pads cleaned the car right up. I topped just like the Range Rover, #16/Pink Wax blend.
After:
After, not resized, but cropped (for true comparison):
After pics:

Took this one later in the day in the shade-definitely a color that looks best in the sun!
The interior was cleaned using BioKleen Traffic Lane Cleaner on the carpets and mats, Woolite/water on the vinyl and seats, dressed with Optimum Protectant Plus.
My son and I then took our lunch break at a great Italian/Pizza place and then came back to take care of the Dodge Ram and the Audi TT, last shot on this roll-both have been washed and my son is detailing the interior of the TT.
Hopefully I will finish the next roll out tomorrow (Tuesday) and get those pics posted, including the interior shots of the Range Rover, which he took to the office after we finished it.

Looking forward to the next set of pics! The Mazda I would bet a 100 bucks looks better now then when it rolled out of the showroom floor!

As always, fantastic work - always impressive
Have you tried the Optimum polishes/compounds via Rotary and if so what are your views on them? Just wondering as i'm going to have a play around with them in the next day or two (I currently use Menz and Blackfire)
Thanks
Clark
