Still beading, still had some slickness. Paint was also in overall excellent condition and really didn't need anything other than a couple areas of tar polished off with Poorboy's Polish w/carnauba, then my son waxed it with Meguiars #16-which happens to be his favorite wax to use.
=============
2003 Chevy Silverado 2500. Weekly wash customer, polished with Menzerna 106FF and sealed with Poorboy's EX-P in early March. Freshened it up with Werkstatt's Acrylic Jett Trigger in late April (just got Trigger the day before and was itching to test it!). Truck sits outside 24/7 under a live oak so it always has a light coating of sap on it when I wash it on Friday mornings. The combo of EX-P and Trigger seemed to be holding on, but after 4 months I wanted to freshen it again. The truck could probably use a light polish on the hood but since the owner plans to sell it this late fall or early winter he wants to hold off anything major until then so the detail is fresh. Anyway, just went over it with a coat of EX-P since it was late morning and already in the lower 90s and in the full sun!
Good shot of the metallic and still pretty swirl free considering the last polishing was about 5 1/2 months prior.

First time I have done this particular car, although I have been detailing cars and Harleys for the owner for several years. He wanted it detailed in and out, happily, the car was very clean, especially the interior. I think it took my son just about an hour to detail the inside and dress it. I took care of the exterior, which was also in great shape, just a few light scratches. I polished it out using Optimum Polish (new formula) using the green Propel lite cut Cyclo pads and removed the residue with Optimum Car Wax. I followed with Werkstatt's Acrylic Jett Trigger.
No interior shots, the owner had an appointment to get to-you can see him waiting in the car while I snapped a few pics.
==============
2006 Chrysler 300C SRT8. Really nice car, clean lines, great looking interior and 425 horsepower. The owner washes it himself and seems to do a very good job, I didn't see any halo swirls on it-nor his wife's Infiniti FX35 which is about a year old (and he wants waxed in a week or two). Nice to see some people know how to wash a car without swirling it up.
I went with Werkstatt's Prime using white Cyclo finishing pads and sealed with Acrylic Jett. Nowhere to move the car when I finished that was either full sun or full shade so the shots didn't come out as good as I hoped but they do show how wet the Werkstatt twins are. Really nice metallic flake in the paint and very minimal orange peel as well.

Man, I have a couple customers with bad luck too...no sooner do I get their vehicles looking good then they get in an accident...and we all know what body shops do. I don't even tell my customers to take the car back to the body shop for "rebuffing", as I know 90% are not capable of buffing a black car out without halograms. Have fun!

I don't understand why body shops have such a hard time properly detailing cars, you would think that if they are the ones that can apply the paint they should know how to properly finish the paint after the aplication.
