03' Nissan Maxima - Metallic Gray

I detailed my friends WRX STI last week and he referred a couple people that he knows to me who wanted their cars detailed. This car is one of them. It's an 03 with about 30K miles on the clock. Car was in pretty good shape overall. It had some light to medium scratches and lots of fallout on the paint. He specifically asked me to use Zaino on it.

My process:

Washed exterior & cleaned engine compartment

Clayed exterior with Opti-Clay

Re-washed exterior

Buffed complete exterior with Hyper Compound using a foam cutting pad

Buffed complete exterior with Optimum Polish using a foam finishing pad

Wiped down complete exterior with water/alcohol solution

Zaino Z2 Pro (ZFX'd) x3 by hand

Dressed tires & wheel wells with Super Blue Dressing

Rick,

That looks fabulous. You captured a lot of the gloss and wetness I experience with Zaino Z-2 Pro on my metallic silver. I sent you a PM a while back asking what camera you use. My current camera is not doing well at capturing the paint appearance well.

Defintely a 6th gen Maxima, 2004 was the first year, I like that color, you really highlighted the flakes.
