Cadillac CTS-V

Well, I detailed my Dad's CTS-V a long time ago, I just never came around to post pictures. Here's what I did (it took three days!!!):

Wash w/Sonus Gloss Shampoo
Clay bar w/Sonus grey bar
SSR 2.5 with Sonus Orange DAS pad on PC (swirls were heavy, despite being just a couple of months old)
SFX 3 and Sonus Blue DAS pad on PC
AIO
P21S
Wheels received AIO and tires received Autoglym Tyre Dressing
Windows cleaned with PB Waterless Wash

Looks good. On the hood though, are those holograms? Or just paint that might have a little bit of sealant left on it or something.

Hmm, ScubaStevo, you might be right. I would go out to the car to check on it, but the car hasn't been detailed since that time! It could be holograms though, simply because it was my first black car, but it would be weird for me to put holograms on a hood...I usually produce them on the bottom of a door panel because it is difficult to hold onto the PC. Heck, I remember when I was detailing this car, I was using a 4" spot pad for the first time, and it SPUN OFF the backing plate! Oh well, whenever I get the chance to detail this car, I will keep an eye on the holograms. It could be the camera too. But, I think I will aggree with you that those were holograms. Well, I guess my Autopian cred has been crumbled. Nah, I'll improve.

Nope that wasn't it Steve. I tried reloading a couple of times and just got X's. I guess my DSL connection is just too fast. They're loading now, great looking CTS-V. Don't see too many of them around here, very cool and fast Caddy's!

Pics look good! Nice job... but those hood holograms...

I'd guess it's remaining sealant or something along those lines. You don't typically get those kind of holograms with a PC (more of a rotary thing).
