this weekend's details.

Lets get the Jeep out of the way. This is one of the 3 cars that I take care of... about 4 times a year. This is the only car that gets used alot so it needs plenty of attantion. (especially the interior.) Last time I topped it with FK1 #216 which was still pretty slick but I went over the the vertical areas again. Applied #16 over it. Tires have FK1 #108. My new favorite leather/vinyl/rubber/trim product.

Next up is the Jag - that has FK1 #1000 synthetic paste wax as the only LSP. Has many layers of it. Interior was vacuumed and everything was covered in FK1 #108. Glass/wood trim received FK1 #425 Tires also have #108

Here is the husband's car. 2005 Vette. He takes his car through a car was at times and washes it himself, but otherwise I am the only one who touches it. Vacuumed cleaned and protected with FFK1 #108, windows have #425. Exterior was wahsed and received a coat of #16 since the #216 was still working from the last time. Tires: #108

This was a full detail - 2004 Boxter. Belongs to a friend of theirs who was visiting. He dropped of the car at 10:00 and I finished it at 4:00 pm. Didn't take any befores because the forecast was "rain". The car was pretty filthy both in and out. Paint was full of swirls but by the time I finished the interior, the sun was gone, so I just used my pc. (I need to be able to see what I do with the rotary.) Orange 7.5" LC pad on 6 with OC. When everything was done, (I worked the paint inside the garage due to all the polles/flowers) the swirls were actually gone. Inside was vacuumed, cleaned with TOL rug renew & vinyl/leather cleaner. Floormats were washed. Protected with FK1 #108/#425.

Exterior wash washed then clayed (sure needed it). As I said, I used the pc and OC. Since I may not see this car for at least another 6 months at least, I wanted him to have MAXIMUM PROTECTION. Protected it with FK1 #2180 and topped it with #16 - Meg's #16. Tires have #108 once again.

I hope you like!

Wet looking details and I like the Porsche and Vette especially. That 400th Anniversary Virginia license plate is quite nice as well.
