Mercedes E500, pair of G35s, wait until you see the befores on the black one!!!
2003 Mercedes E500. Unbelievable condition to begin with, looks like he had just washed and vacuumed it! He said he has it washed regularly but it had only been waxed once. Amazingly, even in the sun, the paint was remarkably swirl free. I washed it with Optimum No Rinse and clayed the horizontal panels and pulled very little gunk off the car, really excellent condition!
I polished with Werkstatt's Prime using a blue Propel finishing pad and topped with Acrylic Jett by hand.
==============
2004 Infiniti G35. Regular customer, deep polished it in June 2005 and I see it every couple of months, hit it with a light polish and wax each time, and each time the finish looks even better.
We've had a lot of on and off storms for about a week now and the G35 was pretty dirty with road grime, water spots, etc, just what you'd expect after all the rain we've had. I had last polished and waxed it on February 26th with Clearkote's Vanilla Moose and Carnauba Moose, and yesterday, May 7th, I gave it an Optimum No Rinse wash and it looked like this....the horror!
BTW, I wash and dress the tires and fenderwells before washing the body of the car...no dressing overspray problems anymore, even on windy days!

That's a great comparison between silver and black on the same car. Both look fantastic, which is why I always look at your work as soon as it appears. It is often my lunchtime entertainment.
Though both are superb, I would vote for black. It just blows me away. And, to think that I traded black in on a gray car.
You continue to do a fantastic job of showing what the Werkstatt line can do. I've noticed that they have run out of some product. No wonder!
Again, thanks for treating us to another episode of "The Scottwax Chronicles." : )

The black one is crazy! It looks like the car has a black mirror on it. Black may be hard to keep looking good, but when it looks good…. It looks CRAZY good! Nice work as usual

They asked me to take a few pics of their cars together, but I was going to do it anyway!

What can I say? I never get sick of looking at em, especially after you've gotten your mitts on 'em. great work, nice to see that some finessing can really bring back that black G paint.

Actually, what really made me happy was how well VM/CMW had held up for about 2 1/2 months, especially with all the rain we've had on and off the last 6 weeks or so. I really didn't even want to polish it at first but there were a couple really light scratches he wanted removed.

Excellant work Scott :0
Yea the rain sure does put a damper on the detailing jobs. Ron is pretty busy with hail jobs right now so that's a good thing! LOL
