2005 Ford F-250. One of the vehicles I did last Sunday when we got all that rain in Dallas. As you will see in the pics, I had a very nice garage to work in.

I wash it a couple times a month, the off weeks he runs it through a tunnel wash. It was starting to get some halo swirls and some scuffs in it as you can see (not sure what the red reflection is):

After polishing with Menzerna 106FF using a Lake Country polishing pad and removing the excess with Optimum Car Wax-still a bit of dust left behind though. I had not yet polished under the door window, I think you can see the line where I stopped polishing.

I normally would have used a more aggressive polish or pad initially but the owner told me to not kill myself on his truck, save it for his Cayenne.

A few days later in the full sun, I got another shot. Still some very minor swirling when looking up at it, head on, you couldn't see them at all. Considering the swirls and only one polishing step, I am pretty happy with how well 106FF did.

Full shots in his garage, and after also topping with Poorboy's EX w/carnauba:

I didn't get any sun shots other than the one posted, the roads were still damp on Monday when he drove his truck to work and the sides didn't look that good.

=============

2005 Cadillac Escalade. New, only washed it a few time so far. Customer said to "put a light wax" on it. He's kind of cheap so he didn't want any polishing (really didn't need it anyway). I applied a coat of Optimum Car Wax and that is it. Sorry about the poor lighting, I didn't have his keys so I couldn't pull it out.

2006 Ford Mustang. First one I have done. V6 car, sorry.

The paint was in really excellent condition. I had to use ScratchX by hand on a very minor rotary hologram on the top of the rear fender (someone probably polished out a scratch) but other than that, the car was swirl free. Washed with Optimum No Rinse and finished with OCW.

BTW, those wheels aren't exactly fun to clean but I am glad the spinners do pop off.

1997 Ford Explorer. Owner is selling it, wanted it cleaned up. Overall, in pretty good shape but with only 64,000 miles on it (exactly!), I guess it should be.

Definitely needed claying....

Polished with a 50/50 mix of Optimum Polish and Compound using a Meguiars polishing pad and removing the excess with OCW. I finished it off with Natty's Blue by hand.

Sweet! That F-250 looks amazing. I really want some of that 106FF.

The others look great too, especially the EB explorer despite being a decade old.

The Ford F-250 looks wonderful and with just one polishing step with PO106FF, almost all the swirls are removed, great job. Btw the gargae really looks great and how I wish I have something similar to do my detailing work.

Scott: Nice work on the F-250! The cleanup was great for such a simple one-stepper.

To 99%+ of the population, those results are more than enough.
