Yesterday's flash flood details v.crappy cell phone pics

Looks like we made a huge dent in the recent drought in north Texas-which came at an expense to working this weekend. Luckily, my Sunday customer did not cancel.

This was how the whole day was:

I used Menzerna 106FF with an LC polishing pad, removed the excess with Optimum Car Wax and sealed with Poorboy's EX w/carnauba on all. Obviously couldn't move anything out for pics and didn't want to waste film, so you get wonderful ZERO.3 megapixel camera phone pics.

2004 Porsche Cayenne:

2004 Lexus LX470:

Before and after on his F-250's roof:

Before:

After 106FF and OCW:

I took some full shots of the F-250 in his garage with my 35mm camera, had to shoot at 1/10th of a second, hopefully they come out okay.

On an unrelated note, think this stain will come out?

2 gallon cooler full of Gatorade punch spilled in the back of an Excursion. The stain was a couple months old first time I even saw it.

I would just dye the carpet, looks like SEM part #15283 pescadero sand or #15223 castella.

That is one helluva stain!!!

That's no Gatorade! Tony Soprano used that truck for a whack.

I've cleaned enough deer blood out of trucks in the past to know how bad that would smell!

Ooo, that sucks. I'm surprised it didn't flood in my area with all that rain. But then again, I didn't leave the house so it might have been worse farther down the road.

The weather here today in Houston is mind blowing. Not a cloud in the sky, light breeze, and a high temp of 67 F. Awesome.

Sunny the last couple of days but only in the 50s today. Normal high is 70 this time of the year.

Whole week is supposed to be dry but below normal temps through Friday.

SROL-I was actually out in Hudson Oaks (about 15 miles west of Fort Worth) cleaning those cars and it was just a steady rain all day. Maybe 1-1.5" or so. Where I live in north Arlington, the weather watcher in this area reported over 6" of rain on Sunday. A lot of the side streets stayed wet most of Monday despite the sunshine.
