Black 06' Corvette Coupe

This Corvette was just traded in with only 750 miles on it. It has the new 6-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters which are only available for 06' models and above. I was able to take the car for a nice ride before it was sold and was very impressed with the new transmission.

Anyways, the car is obviously new, but it had some minor scratches in common areas such as around the door handles, around the rear hatch and scratches from wiping it when dusty, etc..

I wish I could have taken the pictures outside because it looked absolutely amazing in person, but it was slightly raining when the new owner picked it up and was not able to get any sun shots.

My process:

Washed complete exterior

Cleaned wheels & engine compartment

Spot-buffed scratched areas with IP using a foam cutting pad

Buffed complete exterior with FP II using a foam finishing pad

Hand application of Werkstatt's Prime

Hand application of Werkstatt's AJ x2

Topped with Natty's Blue

Dressed tires with Super Blue dressing

AFTER PICTURES

Awesome Vette!! Can't imagine why anyone would want to dump one of these after only 750 miles. Unless, it was for one of those Ferraris or Lambos in the background!!

Awesome!

I wish you had sun to take pictures outside.

You still have snow on the ground?

PS: What kind of brushes do you use for the inside of wheels? Or is it a pressure washer?

The guy that traded it in owns a snowplow/tuck add-on franchise, so he is considered a dealer. He bought the car new and drove the car on a dealer plate so he would not have to register it and pay sales tax. This guy has bought a few other cars, driven them a few miles and then traded them in because he loves cars so much. When we sell the car, the new owner will be considered the 1st owner because the car has never been titled.

Tdekany- The snow is pretty much gone around here, but the car was trapped in the showroom for a week and I wasn't able to take pictures outside. I took the pictures on the day the new owner came to pick up the car, but it was raining outside.

For the wheel wells I use a soft bristle brush about 5'' in diameter that I got at AutoZone
