Briliant Silver MB CL55 AMG

This car is probably one of my favorite cars of all time. I love the style of it and the fact that it's a 2 door. It's a 2001 with only 27K miles on it, so it was in very good condition to begin with. It is a retail job for one of my good customers. He just wanted to get it cleaned up because it was getting a little dirty from the nasty roads here in New England. The wheels & tires on the car are the winter set.

To start, I washed the entire exterior, wheels & engine compartment

Clayed complete exterior with Opti-Clay

Polished exterior with Final Polish II

Hand application of Jeff Werkstatt's prime to complete exterior & wheels

Hand application of UPP x2

Used extractor on interior carpets & mats

Meguiars Quick Interior Detailer on inside vinyl & leather

Stoners Invisible Glass on all windows & interior wood trim

Dressed tires & wheel wells w/ Super Blue dressing

These pictures don't do the car justice because it was a bit overcast today when I took them.

I'm not sure just yet. I just started using the Werkstatt products so I haven't done enough cars to tell which I like better. I was limited on time today, so I decided the to use the UPP on top of the prime because it is rediculously fast & easy to use and produces great results on silver. I just did a titanium color Ferrari 360 Spider that came out awesome using Wekstatt's prime followed by 2 coats of AJ. Really shows off the metal flake. I'll post some pics the next nice day.

What an awesome looking car! Very nice work. This may be a dumb question but what are the little door looking things in the rocker panels for?

If memory serves me right, that's where you insert the "jack."

Rick, Excellent as usual. UPP seems to bring out the bling in silver.

So it's a 01 with 03+ tail lights and 600 rims. Those tail lights threw me off. When I saw the 600 rims and no 'V8 kompressor' emblems on the side I was like ***? Then the engine set me straight. lol. Enough blabbing. Very nice job!
