Silver C4S Porsche

This is a flood car from Katrina, the rear glass was broken and it had milk thrown in it. Then some weeks later I get it.....I start on the interior and then the cars owner needs to have the car back to go to New Mexico. This was before Thanksgiving...I just got the car back yesterday

It was full of bugs, dirt, grime and just in real rough shape. The rear still had lots of glass in it also, even under the rear seats.

Interior got a steaming with my steamer, which was really nasty as my steamer wifted up to my nose all that sour milk The interior was really scuffed up, like a troop of girlscouts went climbing through the car after a cookie sale!! Leather was cleaned with my steamer, Leathermaster Strong Cleaner and then dressed with Optimum Pro+.

I also used an odor removal plus cleaner to deal with the cigarette smell and the sour milk smell..it works very nicely.

The wheels were just gross....I had to hit them twice with TOL's Wheel Wash and my steamer and they still didn't come out totally clean like I wanted. Turns out they the car was repainted in some areas and the wheels had tons of overspray on them. I'll remove that in a few weeks when I detail it again.

Even though the paint was pretty rough I used only my Cyclo on the whole thing. I clayed it first then used the Cyclo yellow pads with Opt. Hyper Compound. I went very slow and I was really impressed with how the Hyper finished out, even with the yellow pads. Then I went with the orange pads and Opt Polish and after that I gave it a layer of OCW.

All trim was cleaned with GR-40 and then dressed.

The owner said she'll give me another call when she gets back from a road trip....she is going back to Illinois!!!

Here are some pics...

Even silver can show scratches!

Now for a few AFTERS

Thanks

I use an odor remover called X-O Plus+ Cleaner. I like it because it not only nuetralizes odors but it also cleans as it does so. I get it from TOL but you can goggle it to see where else you can get it also.

Hey thanks for the enthusiastic THUMBS UP!!

I allowed the engine to warm up for a few minutes, rinsed the exterior paint area around the engine and I then sprayed it with degreaser. I allowed it to dwell for several minutes, did some light scrubbing with a soft wheel brush and also a medium (firmness) toothbrush.

I always try and start in the bottom and work my way up. I then rinse then engine bay down and then I do the inside of the deck lid top. This is done last so water won't drip on your head from it as you clean the engine area

You can then choose to dress it or go el natural.

Here is the inside of the deck lid

I wish to thank everyone for their kind words...greatly appreciated

Anthony
