2006 Chevy Trailblazer SS (customer pics)
Owned by a member of offtopic.com. He lives in New York but goes to school at UTA (University of Texas at Arlington). He got the truck over the Christmas break and drove it down here for spring semester (23 hours straight through!). Brand spanking new, less than 3000 miles on it but pretty dirty from the drive. He ran into a plethora of weather conditions on the way down so the truck was pretty grimy.
I washed it with QEW and looked it over. There was some very minor spider swirling but the paint was decently smooth. He really didn't have time for anything other than a quick wax since he didn't get the SS to me until 4:30 PM and sunset is 5:45 PM this time of year. Just went over it with Optimum Car Wax this time. He definitely wants to me to spend more time on it towards spring though.
Anyway it was nearly dark when I finished so it wasn't worth even trying to take pics. He took these this morning and sent them to me.
Really nice looking SUV, the interior is definitely much nicer than the old S-10 Blazers. 395 horsepower is kind of nice too.

WOW, you lucky dog! I have yet to see one of these in person. I really want my dad to buy one of these. How was the general quality of it (mainly interior)? Did it seem better than the regular Trailblazers? Man I love those things!

The instrument panel is sportier and the leather seats up front have suede inserts.
I hope next time I can use the Werkstatt twins on it, I bet they would look amazing on that paint.

Nice, Scott!
23 hours? So thats 12 tanks of gas, right?
I like the truck a lot, but the Gr. Cherokee SRT-8 is pretty stunning too. Bang for the buck, not sure you could beat the SS.

Is that the 2-wheel drive or AWD version?

He said it is optioned out, so I am guessing it would be AWD.

My favorite SUV...done right!!!! The only "real" SS we have left (although cobalt and admittingly Impala and MC are good cars in their own right). Lose the single outlet though.
Awesome as usual Mr. Scottwax. Care to donate (and not the cleaning supplies) lol...j/k. Have to try sometimes...you never know!!
More, more.....(pics)??

He took 6 pics, I posted the best 3. Next time I clean it, hopefully I don't run out of daylight and can take my own pics.
